Though the Western Allies had achieved air and naval superiority by 1943, their invasion of Italy and then France would be met by the still-formidable German army—an army of combat veterans, superlative weaponry, and elite units. With many battle-tested divisions, the Germans would test the mettle of the invading Allied forces. The Allies would demonstrate that they too could produce hard-fighting divisions, like the British 50th Infantry Division, the Canadian 3rd Infantry Division, the U.S. 2nd Armored Division, and many more. But both sides would experience much tougher fighting than they had anticipated, as they would each field some of their best units during the battles and campaigns of Southern and Western Europe.

Eisenhower's War is a division-level multiplayer WW2 card game which lets players battle to capture "objectives" with the famous (and not-so-famous) combat divisions of the Western Front during World War Two (1943 to 1945 are represented in the Eisenhower's War deck). Included are over 50 individual Allied and German Divisions...each card listing details and facts about the Division.

But wait! There's more! There are dozens of additional combat support cards (air units, heavy tank battalions, artillery detachments, engineers, etc.), and even Generals such as Patton, Montgomery, Rommel. Moreover, there are the occasional "special cards" that add a whole different dimension to each game. Eisenhower's War is fast and fun to play, and features both the comfortable pace of a simple card game with the historical feel of an accurate board game. Eisenhower's War is based upon the Avalon Hill Game Company's "Atlantic Storm" card game. Eisenhower's War includes 110 unique cards ... 95 of them combat cards, a rules booklet, and one 6-sided die.
